3D Printing Services Terms & Conditions

  1. Overview

All parts produced by our 3D printing bureau are custom-made to order, based on customer-supplied files, specifications and/or approvals.
As such, returns or refunds are not generally available once production has started, except in cases where the part is defective or does not meet agreed specification.

  1. Eligibility for Return or Reprint

A reprint, refund, or partial credit may be offered under the following conditions:

  • The part you received differs from the approved design, file, or purchase order (e.g. wrong material, colour, or process).
  • The part has a manufacturing defect that affects form, fit, or function.
  • The part was damaged in transit, and evidence of such damage is provided upon receipt of the goods.

Requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery with clear photographic evidence and the original order reference.

  1. Exclusions

We cannot offer refunds or replacements in the following cases:

  • Errors or issues caused by the customer’s supplied CAD model or file (e.g. geometry errors, insufficient wall thickness, unprintable designs).
  • Parts that fail due to improper handling, post-processing, or use after delivery.
  • Minor cosmetic variations such as colour tone, surface texture, or build marks inherent to the 3D printing process.
  • Dimensional variations within the stated machine or process tolerances.
  • Parts rejected after customer approval of a test print, sample, or print preview.
  1. Inspection & Resolution

Upon receiving your return request:

  1. Our quality team will review the evidence provided.
  2. We may request the part be returned for inspection.
  3. If a defect or error on the highlighted part is confirmed, we will:
    • Offer a free reprint; or
    • Provide a credit note or refund for the affected part value.

Decisions will be made within 10 working days of inspection or review.

  1. Shipping & Returns

If a physical return is requested:

  • Parts must be returned well packaged and protected to avoid further damage.
  • Return shipping costs will be covered by us only when a manufacturing error or defect is confirmed.
  1. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only before production has started (i.e. the part is already being 3D Printed). Once printing has begun, the order is considered confirmed and is non-refundable.
