INTAMSYS Launches the FUNMAT PRO 310 APOLLO: Redefining Continuous Production with High-Speed, High-Strength PEEK & PAEK 3D Printing
Over the past decade, FFF 3D printing has progressed from basic prototyping to genuine functional part production, and INTAMSYS has consistently remained at the forefront of this industrial evolution.
In 2016, INTAMSYS introduced its first high temperature system, the FUNMAT HT, becoming one of the earliest companies to reliably print PEEK using FFF technology. At a time when printing PLA well was still regarded as a benchmark, INTAMSYS established a new standard by demonstrating the ability to print PEEK well, attracting attention from across the globe. As an early pioneer in PEEK 3D printing, the company helped open the path for high performance polymers to enter mainstream industrial additive manufacturing.
Since then, INTAMSYS has steadily expanded its range of compatible materials, progressing from PEEK to the wider PAEK family and a broad collection of engineering grade thermoplastics. This continued development has reinforced its leadership within the industrial FFF sector.
Today, INTAMSYS is moving beyond the focus on printing quality alone to enable continuous production with PAEK materials. This ambition has led to the creation of the new FUNMAT PRO 310 APOLLO, marking a significant moment as high performance polymers transition from laboratory environments to full scale manufacturing.
3D Printer Designed for Batch Production & Quality Control
A System Level Breakthrough in High Performance Material Manufacturing: the Funmat Pro 310 APOLLO represents far more than the next step in the FUNMAT series. It stands as a comprehensive system level upgrade in the manufacture of high performance materials.
With advanced multi physics process control, the Funmat Pro 310 APOLLO achieves print speeds up to four times faster and more than double the Z axis strength, reaching beyond 40 MPa.; it includes:
- Dual 3 kg active drying filament boxes
- RFID material identification
- The newly introduced INTAMQuality traceability platform
Together, these elements ensure stable processes and consistent results throughout production. On the software side, the INTAMSUITE NEO slicing platform provides intelligent toolpath planning and adaptive process management. It enables precise control of temperature, flow and motion, delivering reliable and repeatable outcomes with high performance materials.
To support growing industrial requirements, the 310 APOLLO is equipped with the INTAMQuality manufacturing assurance system. By recording data such as filament batch information, process parameters and full runtime logs, it assigns each printed component a unique digital fingerprint. This allows complete traceability and verifiable quality for certification, documentation or maintaining consistency across multiple printers and production sites.
Built for Continuous Production
- Achieving Real Productivity with High Performance Materials
- Manufacturing is entering a new phase of development.
- Humanoid robots require structural components that are both lightweight and exceptionally strong.

Electric vertical take off and landing aircraft need parts that balance strength, weight and environmental durability.

Aerospace applications continue to push the boundaries of advanced composite materials.

In these leading sectors, PAEK materials are rapidly becoming essential. However, achieving consistent material performance and efficient production at scale remains one of the industry’s most significant challenges. This is where the 310 APOLLO excels. It brings high performance polymer printing out of the laboratory and directly into industrial production environments. Designed as a system level solution for continuous and dependable manufacturing, the 310 APOLLO represents a clear shift from high performance printing to true high performance material production.
A Manufacturing Enabler, Not Merely a Printer
“We did not simply introduce a faster machine. We created an automated, traceable and scalable manufacturing platform,” said Charles Han, Founder and CEO of INTAMSYS. “We have always believed that the true value of industrial 3D printing lies not only in speed or strength but in its potential to redefine manufacturing principles. The 310 APOLLO is more than a technological advance. It is an important step towards scalable, intelligent and sustainable production for manufacturers around the world.”
Jimmy Yuan, Product Director at INTAMSYS, added: “Every aspect of the 310 APOLLO has been designed with production level reliability in mind, from the dual nozzle IDEX architecture to comprehensive data recording. What we are providing is not simply improved print quality. It is dependable manufacturing capability.”
The FUNMAT PRO 310 APOLLO redefines what FFF systems can achieve with high performance materials. It stands not merely as a printer but as a complete production system designed to support the smart factories of the future.
