CDG 3D TECH are excited to have played our part in the creation of a giant Sony PlayStation pinball machine, to help promote the UEFA 2024 tournament.
At the beginning of May our Replik8 Team started working with Event Engineering who needed our support with large-format 3D printing for a 10X sized pinball table. Our team used the OMNI 3D Printers with a 500 x 500mm bed size.
After the first test piece was printed, we reviewed it with the client the Sony PlayStation Pinball – located outdoors – to see if it ticks all the requirements for this giant project. On the same day the project manager comes back to our team saying:
“All happy with the coin! In the sunlight it looked really quite fantastic.”
Following this successful test 10 Gold Coins were required to be 3D Printed with a tight deadline of just a couple of weeks.

On the 30th May the Gold Coins went live in London on the PlayStation Pinball to celebrate the UEFA 2024 Tournament.
