AMT Postpro® SFX

The PostPro SFX utilises cutting-edge green chemistry, PostPro Pure. Compatible with engineering plastics, the system produces a high quality vapour smoothed surface finish in any environment. Vapour smoothing is a process in which additively manufactured parts are exposed to a vapour under carefully controlled conditions. This non-line-of-sight approach creates parts with a smooth surface, improved mechanical performance, sealed and sterilisable surfaces. This innovative technology opens a world of new application opportunities in industries such as medical, automotive, food & beverage and consumer goods.

Industrial use for Vapour Smoothing

The vapour smoothing process decreases the surface roughness of the part, improves the material’s mechanical properties, including elongation at break and tensile strength, and seals the surface to make it resistant to liquids.

The PostPro SFX is a good solution to give a finishing to your 3D printed parts with a better feeling and less grainy parts. 

Automotive

The vapour smoothing process is a good post processing for 3D printed automotive parts. This process will give to your part air-tight and water proof properties ideal for air or liquid flow parts.
